Bathroom Remodeling in Dallas-Fort Worth

Some bathroom remodels begin with a photo on your phone. Others begin with a leak, or a soft area by the toilet, or mold behind the shower tile.

. We take care of either of those issues-and that second one is the sort that not all remodelers are prepared for.

At DFW Restorations Enterprise, we transform bathrooms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, from small powder rooms and hall baths to full primary suite renovations.

Bathroom Projects We Take On

We take care of tub-to-shower conversions, walk-in and curbless showers, double vanities, custom tile, frameless glass enclosures, lighting and ventilation upgrades, and new flooring. For those who prefer to keep things as they are, we do accessibility upgrades for aging in place, including grab bars, wider doorways, benches, comfort-height toilets, etc.

Built to Stay Dry

Our water damage experience shapes our construction. We have demoed enough failed showers to realize where they go wrong: waterproofing not applied or poorly sealed underneath the tile, shower floors without a proper slope toward the drain, and grout in the corners where only flexible joint sealant should be.

All showers we make will have a good waterproofing membrane under the tile, the right slope to the drain and an exhaust fan for the space. There’s an additional cost now, but it’s far less than having to redo the bathroom in eight years.

Design Choices That Age Well

Trends will change, so we help our clients make decisions that won’t look outdated in ten years. Oversized porcelain tile means less grout to scrub. A wall-mounted vanity opens up the room visually and on the floor.
A hand-held shower on a slide bar is easier to use for cleaning the shower and bathing the kids and washing the dog.
Good layered lighting, including a dimmable overhead and task lighting at the mirror, makes the space warmer and more inviting.

How a Project Runs

We start with a visit to measure and talk through what you want. You get a written estimate and help with selections. Then demolition, rough plumbing and electrical, inspections where permits apply, waterproofing, tile, fixtures and a final walkthrough. If your bathroom was damaged in an insurance loss, we can handle the covered repair and your upgrades in one project.

Bathroom Remodelling FAQs

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

A cosmetic refresh can take one to two weeks. A full gut with layout changes often takes three to six. Custom glass and special-order tile can add time.

If the bathroom was damaged by a covered event, the repair can go through your claim. Any upgrades beyond like-for-like are paid separately.

Moving plumbing, adding circuits or changing walls usually does. We take care of permits and inspections.
