Kitchen Remodeling in Southlake, TX

Ask a Southlake homeowner what their kitchen is for, and cooking might come third. It’s where everybody lands after a Friday night game. It’s where Thanksgiving dinner for twenty gets plated. And at every party, guests drift in there no matter how nice the living room is. So a remodel here has to handle all of that without the room ever feeling crowded.

DFW Restorations Enterprise builds custom kitchens for Southlake families who want a space that looks great and holds up to real use.

Kitchens Built for Entertaining

Our Southlake designs start with traffic flow. Where do guests tend to stand? How much room does the cook need to move? The island usually ends up as the anchor of the room. A setup we use a lot puts stools on one side and a prep sink on the other, so the people chatting and the person cooking stay out of each other’s way.

Other features Southlake clients ask us for:

  • A butler’s pantry with a second sink, a beverage fridge and more storage
  • Panel-ready appliances that disappear into the cabinetry
  • Pro-style ranges paired with a hood that’s actually sized for them
  • Walk-in pantries with custom shelving
  • A coffee or bar station set apart from the main cooking zone

Designing for Two Cooks

In a lot of Southlake homes, two people cook at the same time. Or a caterer takes over the kitchen for a big night. We plan for that with two separate work areas: the main range zone and a second prep spot with its own sink and cutting board storage. Where the room allows, aisles get widened to about 48 inches. And the dishwasher goes somewhere it won’t block anyone when the door is open.

Finishes That Keep Up With the House

If the rest of your home has high-end finishes, a builder-grade kitchen stands out for the wrong reasons. We work with custom and semi-custom cabinet lines, natural stone, quartz and specialty tile. You’ll see every sample in person. For countertops, we really encourage you to go look at the actual slab before anyone cuts it.

The Details Behind the Walls

A big pro range and hood need more than a nice spot on the wall. They need enough power, a gas line and a clear path to vent outside. We check your electrical panel and the venting route before a single cabinet is ordered. Island outlets, charging drawers and under-cabinet lighting all get planned at this stage too, so nothing looks tacked on later.

Keeping the Project on Schedule

Custom kitchens come with long-lead items. We order early and hold off on demo until the key pieces are confirmed. Your project manager gives you a written schedule and keeps you posted as the work moves along.

Protecting the Rest of Your Home

A kitchen remodel shouldn’t leave marks on the rooms that aren’t being remodeled. We cover hardwood floors and staircases along the work path and keep the dust contained. At the end of each day, tools and materials get put away and out of sight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you add a butler’s pantry to my existing kitchen?

Often, yes. A corner of the dining room, a mudroom or an oversized pantry can sometimes be reworked into one. We’ll look at the options during your consultation.

Yes. If you already have a designer, we’re happy to build from their plans.
